James Sinclair Taylor has 30 years legal experience advising the voluntary and not-for-profit sector, specialising in governance, constitutional issues, risk management and funding issues. Author of The Voluntary Sector Legal Handbook, a bible for many in the charities world, James is adept at providing tailored and sensitive advice to organisations across the spectrum. James founded Sinclair Taylor & Martin in 1981, and merged with Russell-Cooke LLP in 2003, where he is Senior Partner and leads the Charities Team. He has also advised many charities as trustee, and has co-founded three charities.
